ANJ grants Betsson France online poker licence and conditional shared-liquidity approval

France’s gambling regulator ANJ has granted Betsson France a five-year online poker licence and, in a second decision, conditional approval to pool players with Spain, Italy and Portugal. The Autorité nationale des jeux adopted both decisions on October 15, 2026. Decision 2026-171 grants the licence for online “jeux de cercle”, the French legal category covering poker, under reference 0061-PO-2026-10-15-AGR-00. It is restricted to www.betsson.fr and is renewable but not transferable, and the college chaired by ANJ President Pascal Chevremont adopted it under article 14 of France’s 2010 online gambling law .
