Mozambique Regulation on Online Casino Set for November

Mozambique is getting ready to implement a specific regulatory framework for online casino operations, including additional requirements for businesses looking to conform to the nation’s gambling industry. Decree No. 61/2026 lays out regulations pertaining to player protection and the enforcement of laws against unauthorized platforms, as well as licensing, ownership, financial, and technological criteria. According to Mozambique’s Ministry of Economy, the regulations will go into effect on November 20, 2026, providing operators with a clear set of prerequisites for entering the regulated market.
