KVA Flags Illegal Affiliate Search Tactics

The Keurmerk Verantwoorde Affiliates (KVA) has warned that illegal gambling affiliates may be using rapidly refreshed web pages and Google search suggestions to reach Dutch consumers. The organisation described the pattern as a possible “hit-and-run” strategy, although neither the Kansspelautoriteit nor Google has independently confirmed deliberate manipulation in the evidence reviewed. During recent monitoring, KVA said it encountered unusual Google suggestions tied to searches such as ‘online casino’ and ‘casino without Cruks’. Those suggestions led to result pages containing dozens of comparison and casino review pages under a common URL structure.
