Wormhole partners with Elysium days before its mainnet launch

The cross-chain messaging protocol is lining up connectivity for Kinetiq's HyperEVM-linked Layer 2 ahead of its November 9 debut Wormhole has teamed up with Elysium, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 network built by Kinetiq and connected to HyperEVM. The partnership was announced on November 5, 2026. Elysium’s mainnet is scheduled to go live on November 9, 2026. The partnership did not appear out of nowhere. Wormhole added support for the Elysium mainnet in its v2.69.0 release on October 22, 2026. In other words, the plumbing was laid roughly two weeks before the public announcement.
