Picture: TokenPost

Nova Scotia Supreme Court Judge John Bodurtha ordered police to return William Sandeson's laptop to his family, finding prosecutors had not linked its Bitcoin (BTC) to the drug transaction or other criminal activity. Sandeson was sentenced to life in prison for killing fellow student Taylor Samson in 2015. The amount of Bitcoin in the wallet was not disclosed. A lawyer for Samson's family estimated the Bitcoin could be worth more than C$200,000. Riza Dagoc reports on regulation, investing and the digital-asset business for TokenPost.
