Hyperliquid’s Stock and Company-Valuation-Linked Markets Trail S&P 500-Mapped Contract

Thirty-two of 33 Hyperliquid stock and company-valuation-linked markets with more than $10 million in open interest fell over the past week, while only four beat the venue’s S&P 500-mapped contract. The group’s median decline was 7.26%, more than twice the benchmark contract’s 2.92% drop. One market in the group rose; the other three that outperformed the benchmark still finished the week lower. Technology-related markets faced pressure, including those tied to semiconductors, AI infrastructure and some high-valuation stocks. Some popular names lost more than 20% over the week.
