Crypto.com plans to begin a phased winddown of its services in Hong Kong in February 2027, citing regulatory changes as its local virtual asset trading platform license application remains pending. The company emailed Hong Kong users about the plan and said it will provide further arrangements and directions for withdrawing assets through email and its app. The application seeks permission for Foris DAX HK Limited to operate a virtual asset trading platform in Hong Kong.
