That brings the company’s total holdings to 9,237 BTC. The purchase surfaced in Block’s Q3 2026 earnings release on November 3, 2026. As of September 30, 2026, Block’s Bitcoin was valued at approximately $771.9 million. The company’s cost basis on that position is estimated at $318.6 million. The funding method matters as much as the purchase itself.
