Binance Says It Has Covered $6 Billion of Hack-Related Losses

Binance says it has covered $6 billion of losses from a hack, adding a new recovery figure as the exchange continues replenishing assets affected by the breach. The exchange's latest update puts the covered amount at $6 billion. Earlier progress disclosures measured replenishment as a share of affected assets, first at 80% and later at about 90%. The new dollar total adds a separate measure alongside the percentage tracking assets Binance says it has restored.
