Binance-Linked Attacker Converts 130-Plus Altcoins Into $279 Million in Crypto

Lookonchain’s on-chain monitoring linked the conversion of more than 130 altcoins on EVM chains to a Binance-linked attacker, with the assets received valued at about $279 million. The tally lists 123,400 Ether (ETH), valued at $277.26 million, and $1.69 million in USD Coin (USDC). Ether made up nearly all of the combined value, while the USDC proceeds were valued at $1.69 million. More than 130 altcoins were sold across EVM chains, while the assets received were Ether and USDC. The $279 million figure measures the stated value of the crypto proceeds, rather than a cash payment.
