Binance Co-Founder 何一 Says Personal Ties Cannot Secure Listings

Binance co-founder 何一 defended the exchange’s listing review after renewed questions about her relationship with Primitive Ventures co-founder Dovey Wan, saying personal ties alone would not get a project listed. 何一 said she knows Wan, but even her mother could not get a project listed through a personal connection. If a project gained a Binance listing on that basis alone, she said, it would point to a weakness in the exchange’s review process. She also discussed how market conditions had changed. Broad gains in 2017 reflected favorable conditions of the era, she said.
