XRP Ledger builders to test native lending before validator approval

XRPL Commons has announced early access to the XRP Ledger’s proposed native lending tools at its Oct. 24–25 New York hackathon, with more than 400 builders registered for the 36-hour event while validator voting continues. More than 400 builders have registered for the New York event, according to XRPL Commons. Developers will test lending and vault tools before the proposed amendments reach mainnet. Four development tracks offer more than $40,000 in prizes and access to incubation. Activation requires sustained validator support, with no fixed launch date for the lending proposals.
