XRP amendment misses October 23: what to check before November 4

The protocol update fixCleanup3_4_0 will not go live on the XRP Ledger on October 23, 2026. Validator support fell below the required threshold for around two hours on October 21, and the mandatory count started over. A query of the XRP Ledger mainnet that cryptoticker.io ran itself on October 22, 2026 shows the new earliest date: November 4, 2026, 14:46 UTC. For holders, nothing changes on the ledger until then, and the price has not reacted to the delay so far. XRP trades at $1.32, or €1.18, 2.46 percent below its level 24 hours earlier.
