Wintermute Sends $90.38 Million in Bitcoin to Three New Wallets

Three newly created wallets received 1,090 Bitcoin (BTC) from Wintermute, a transfer valued at about $90.38 million that draws attention to a large movement of coins from the crypto market maker. The BTC went to three fresh addresses. Its estimated value at the time of transfer works out to about $82,900 per coin. That figure describes the value of the Bitcoin moved; it does not establish that a purchase took place at that price. Wintermute supplies liquidity to crypto markets, making a transfer of this size relevant to traders tracking large holders.
