Institutional Bitcoin trading increased sharply, but US spot prices remained below overseas levels, leaving evidence of stronger buying demand inconclusive. Easing equity-market volatility offered some relief, while trading activity and directional conviction continued to send different signals. On October 27, the Coinbase premium stood at -0.07% in the daily series, compared with -0.18% on October 26. The latest five daily readings were -0.14%, -0.15%, -0.13%, -0.18% and -0.07%. A separate live reading on October 27 showed a premium of -0.18%.
