UK Crypto Holder Says Attackers Stole About $800,000 in Assets

A crypto holder in the United Kingdom said attackers restrained him with tape and threatened him with three knives before forcing him to unlock wallets and transfer about $800,000 in digital assets. The holder said about $40,000 was taken from a hot wallet and about $720,000 from a Ledger hardware wallet. The attackers also took a Rolex watch and destroyed his phone, he said. He said he suffered multiple bruises but no fatal knife wounds. He also said police were investigating the incident and that his home had become a crime scene.
