U.S. Secret Service and Circle Track Funds Stolen From Binance

The U.S. Secret Service is working with Circle and other private-sector partners to trace and recover funds stolen from Binance while investigators try to identify those responsible. Agency investigators are working around the clock with the companies to identify, freeze and trace the funds and pursue their recovery. The effort combines work with private companies on the stolen funds and coordination with prosecutors and law enforcement to identify those responsible. The Secret Service is also coordinating with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and law enforcement partners to identify the cybercriminals involved and bring them to justice.
