Trezor Warns of Compromised Hardware Wallet Following $93M Ledger Security Scare

Cryptocurrency hardware wallet maker Trezor has warned customers about a potentially compromised device sold through a former authorized reseller linked to the recent Ledger wallet security scandal, raising concerns that the sophisticated attack may have affected multiple manufacturers. In a Friday announcement , Trezor said its security team received a credible report of a malicious hardware implant inside a Trezor Safe 5 purchased from CryptoBilis, a former authorized reseller in Southeast Asia that was also implicated in the Ledger incident.
