Tether's excess reserves climb to $7.95 billion: “USD₮ remains dependable when people need it most”

Tether published its third-quarter figures on October 30, 2026, and the most important one is the gap between assets and liabilities: as of September 30, the company's assets exceeded its liabilities by $7,954,630,470. At the end of June the figure was $4.1 billion. The buffer has therefore almost doubled in three months, by $3.85 billion. For you as a holder of USD₮, that is the number that counts, because it shows how much room the issuer has beyond the customer money it has taken in. The report was prepared by the audit firm BDO.
