Sui DeFi Applications Hold $509.54 Million as SUI Trades Near $1.05

Sui (SUI) traded near $1.05 on Oct. 21, while decentralized finance applications on its blockchain held about $509.54 million and stablecoins had a market value of about $554.52 million. The figures measure different parts of the network. The first tracks assets locked in decentralized finance applications; the second is the market value of stablecoins on Sui. Both are Oct. 21 snapshots, separate from the token’s price. Sui is a layer 1 blockchain whose native token pays network fees and can be staked. SUI’s total supply is capped at 10 billion tokens.
