Short Liquidations Reach $250 Million in 24-Hour Crypto Tally

Short liquidations reached $250 million across crypto markets over the past 24 hours, more than three times the $77.79 million recorded for long positions in the same tally. Bitcoin (BTC) recorded $70.48 million in short liquidations and $9.06 million in long liquidations. Ether (ETH) had $82.93 million in short liquidations and $27.10 million in long liquidations. Short liquidations were higher than long liquidations for both assets. These figures describe liquidation amounts by position side rather than a separate dollar calculation of traders’ losses.
