The earlier snapshot, at 8:26 a.m. ET (12:26 UTC), covered 10 perpetual contracts across nine exchanges. Its history summary excluded MEXC. The later snapshot, at 1 p.m. ET (17:00 UTC), covered seven exchanges. Because the snapshots differ in both timing and exchange coverage, they do not establish that open interest across the broader market moved from one figure to the other.
