Robinhood links 29 million app users to Ripple’s XRP Ledger

Robinhood expects to add Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin to its app later in 2026 under an agreement announced Oct. 27 that also includes plans for institutional settlement on the XRP Ledger. The planned app rollout would give customers another way to access RLUSD, though the announcement specifies neither a launch date nor which countries or states will be eligible. Those details will determine which Robinhood customers can use the token. The agreement expands a relationship with an established trading venue. Ripple said RLUSD was already live on Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp by Robinhood when it announced the partnership.
