Robinhood (HOOD) Stock Falls 6% After Q3 Earnings Miss as Crypto Revenue Drops

TLDR Robinhood posted Q3 revenue of $1.424 billion, up 12% from last year, just under the $1.43 billion Street forecast. EPS of $0.51 missed the $0.55 consensus, and net income fell 14% to $476 million. Crypto transaction revenue fell 55% from a year ago to $120 million, but beat the $114.1 million estimate. Prediction markets brought in $173 million, more than six times the year-earlier figure. HOOD fell about 5% to 6% after hours to around $89, leaving it down roughly 22% year to date.
