The XRP community has turned its focus to Ripple ’s leadership as the company enters a pivotal phase in 2026. David Schwartz, Ripple’s Chief Technology Officer, posted a photo on X while standing next to Ayo Akinyele, Head of Engineering at RippleX, at the Times Square 42nd Street subway station in New York. The post featured an XRP-branded train and carried the caption: “Time to get on the XRP Train.” Ripple’s annual Swell conference is currently taking place in New York, a venue known for bringing together partners, executives, and regulators from across the digital asset ecosystem.
