Ripple and Robinhood Plan RLUSD Launch as USDG Questions Remain

TLDR Ripple and Robinhood plan to introduce RLUSD to retail users before the end of 2026. Robinhood reported 28.6 million funded customers, but RLUSD eligibility remains undisclosed. USDG remains part of Robinhood Earn despite the planned addition of Ripple’s stablecoin. Bitstamp will use RLUSD on the XRP Ledger for institutional transaction settlement. Ripple Treasury will support Robinhood’s cash management, payments, and financial forecasting. Ripple and Robinhood announced plans on October 27 to bring Ripple USD (RLUSD) to the brokerage’s main app before the end of 2026. The deal also covers institutional trading , payment settlement, and Robinhood’s financial operations.
