Ripple and Coinbase Bring RLUSD to Three Blockchains

Coinbase is bringing RLUSD to its retail app, Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Prime, with dollar conversions available at a 1:1 rate. The rollout supports deposits and withdrawals across XRPL, Ethereum and Base, while Ripple will provide liquidity on Base. RLUSD has surpassed $2.4 billion in market capitalization since its December 2024 launch and is backed by dollar deposits, short-term U.S. Treasuries and other cash equivalents. Ripple and Coinbase announced a partnership on October 28, 2026, bringing Ripple USD (RLUSD) to Coinbase’s trading platforms.
