Blockchain analytics firm, Chainalysis, has disclosed a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to its systems saying an investigation has found no evidence that attackers accessed sensitive investigation data, passwords, or authentication credentials. In a security notice published on October 30 2026, the company said it was working with external cybersecurity experts to investigate the incident, determine its scope, and strengthen its systems. Chainalysis said some customer information, including user IDs, names, email addresses and organizational roles, may have been accessed. It has not disclosed how many customers were affected or how attackers gained entry.
