MSTR Drops 5.98% as Seven Crypto-Linked Stocks Slide Before Open

Seven U.S.-listed stocks tied to crypto were lower in premarket trading Oct. 22, with declines ranging from 4.35% to 6.13%; MSTR fell 5.98%, the second-steepest drop in the group. PURR had the largest loss at 6.13%, 0.15 percentage point more than MSTR. SBET was down 5.51%, and BMNR fell 5.38%. CRCL declined 5%, while HOOD and COIN posted smaller losses of 4.44% and 4.35%, respectively. All seven tickers were in negative territory before the U.S. session, and five lost at least 5%. The gap between PURR, the weakest performer, and COIN, which had the smallest decline, was 1.78 percentage points.
