Monero (XMR) futures open interest reached $325.77 million in one Oct. 21 reading, while a separate Oct. 20 close showed $198 million, underscoring how differently recent measures value outstanding positions. The evening snapshot came at 7:50 p.m. ET (23:50 UTC), with XMR at $621.21, up 0.58% over the previous 24 hours. A separate Oct. 21 tally counted open interest in XMR and put it at 515,730, a five-week high, compared with roughly 400,000 a week earlier. The close-based series recorded about 329,000 XMR in open interest on Oct. 20, versus about 402,000 on Sept. 2.
