Meme Sector Leads Crypto Gains as AI Sector Falls 6.69%

The Meme sector rose 3.78% in an Oct. 28 24-hour snapshot, leading the seven advancing crypto sectors as AI posted the steepest decline among those listed. Seven of the eight sectors advanced: NFT rose 3.32%, PayFi 2.35%, DeFi 2.34%, Layer 1 1.30%, Layer 2 0.61% and CeFi 0.36%. AI declined 6.69%. Within Meme, Pons (PONS) gained 16.90% and MemeCore (M) rose 13.49%. In the NFT sector, Audiera (BEAT) advanced 18.47% and Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) gained 4.10%. The AI sector’s drop accompanied declines of 24.81% in Akedo (AKE) and 72.33% in Quack AI (Q). An Oct.
