Mastercard Was Listed as Partner for XRPL Hackathon Planned for Oct. 24–25

Mastercard was listed as a partner of XRPL Commons’ New York hackathon, which was planned as a 36-hour event for Oct. 24–25; the company separately plans stablecoin settlement support on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). XRPL Commons announced the event as the “XRPL AI & Fintech Hackathon NYC.” It was announced with more than $40,000 in prizes across four tracks: Agentic Finance, Lending & Borrowing, Protocol Innovation and Why Not. Mastercard announced June 3 that it plans to support settlement using regulated stablecoins, including Ripple USD (RLUSD), across supported networks that include XRPL.
