Initia Targets Nov. 2 Restart for Layer 1 Network and Rollups

Initia plans to resume operations on its Layer 1 network and rollups Monday, Nov. 2, after a security incident, with a software patch and liquidity changes planned before the restart. An earlier recovery update described repair work but did not set a restart date. The upgrade will deploy a MoveVM patch that has passed an independent audit. Initia also plans to isolate the attacker’s remaining fabricated balances and add safeguards while preserving the existing transaction record. Support for AUSD0, USDC.n and WETH is scheduled to return before operations resume, with no user action required.
