Short positions among Hyperliquid whales exceeded long positions by $572 million on Oct. 22, with shorts at $4.558 billion and longs at $3.986 billion. The long-to-short ratio was 0.87. Long positions showed $275 million in profit, while short positions showed a $259 million loss. Whale positions on Hyperliquid were listed at $8.545 billion, with shorts representing 53.35% and longs 46.65%. One address, 0x5b5d..60, held a 5x cross-margin short position in Ether (ETH), opened at $2,322.65. The position showed an unrealized loss of $13.83 million.
