Google Wallet Setting Hints at Singapore Alipay+ QR Payments

An in-development Google Wallet option points to overseas QR payments for travelers in Singapore, the only destination currently named on the linked support page for an Alipay+ partner network. The setting was found in Google Wallet build 26.42.1003171897, where its menu label reads “Overseas QR payments.” A linked Google Wallet help page calls the feature Traveler QR and describes an option designed to appear automatically when a phone recognizes that it is in a supported region. The page currently names Singapore and associates it with an Alipay+ partner network; it does not name another destination.
