Fidelity Adds Staking to Ethereum Fund, Opening a Rewards Feature

Fidelity Investments added staking to the Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) on Wednesday, Oct. 28, giving a U.S. spot Ether (ETH) product a rewards feature and expanding how the fund engages with Ethereum. FETH will participate in staking, allowing investors to earn rewards through the process. The addition broadens the fund’s capabilities and gives Fidelity’s Ethereum offering another feature for investors to consider. The change comes amid increased interest in Ethereum and its ecosystem, including among institutional investors.
