Drift Attacker Moves $122.3 Million in ETH Into Tornado Cash

Wallets linked to the Drift Protocol attacker moved $122.3 million worth of Ether (ETH) into Tornado Cash across two days, adding a major new transfer in the aftermath of the $285 million exploit on Solana. The deposits were divided among 520 transactions on Oct. 20 and 21. The combined amount is the largest hacker-linked deposit into Tornado Cash in nearly two years. The two-day total reflects the value of the full transfer series, not one transaction. Drift Protocol was attacked on April 1, with losses totaling $285 million.
