Discord rolls out web search for public servers, raising privacy fears in crypto communities

Discord, a major community platform serving millions of users and thousands of crypto-related groups, has announced that it will allow certain public server conversations to appear in web search results and on new web pages. This update is targeted at its 63,000 Discoverable Servers and is intended to help users more easily find helpful information without first joining a community. Discord will implement its new policy in two phases. Beginning November 16, every Discoverable Server will automatically receive a public Server Web Page. These pages will start displaying AI-generated summaries of discussions that occur from that point onward.
