DIFC Courts Use Avalanche to Verify Court Records Across Borders

Picture: TokenPost

The DIFC Courts have used Avalanche to create digital credentials that let recipients verify court orders and hearing records across borders while keeping the documents’ contents private. The credentials are nontransferable and resemble non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The system places an encrypted hash of each document and its credential on the Avalanche network; the document itself remains private. Recipients can check whether a document came from the DIFC Courts and whether it has been altered without accessing the courts’ internal systems. Riza Dagoc reports on regulation, investing and the digital-asset business for TokenPost. Send corrections or tips to info@tokenpost.com.
