Coinbase Europe Users Must Move USDT Before October 30 Deadline

TLDR Coinbase retail users in the European Economic Area have until October 30 to withdraw 14 tokens the exchange no longer supports. The list includes Tether’s USDT, PayPal’s PYUSD, DAI, PAXG and WLFi’s USD1. The change follows the end of MiCA’s transitional period for stablecoin issuers on July 1, 2026, which was not extended. Tokens not moved to a supported external wallet by the deadline will be converted to USDC automatically. Last week, the Central Bank of Ireland fined Coinbase Ireland €3.25 million over a customer funds shortfall.
