Clearpool Adds CPOOL-to-CLEAR Swap as XRP Ledger Plan Advances

Clearpool has added a CPOOL-to-CLEAR conversion tool to its redesigned decentralized app as it advances a plan for institutional lending on the XRP Ledger alongside its Ethereum-based credit marketplace. The proposed rate is one CLEAR for each CPOOL. Current CPOOL holders would receive 70% of CLEAR’s planned initial supply of 1.125 billion tokens through the conversion. Clearpool’s plan would direct half of protocol fees toward CLEAR purchases, then remove the purchased tokens from circulation permanently. The remaining planned supply is allocated among the treasury and partnerships, ecosystem incentives, and contributors. The XRP Ledger expansion is still in development.
