Canton Coin Arrives in Ripple Custody: What Investors Need to Know

Ripple has held assets from the Canton Network since October 5, 2026. Its custody product, Ripple Custody, supports Canton Coin (CC) and tokens built to the CIP-56 standard as of version 1.43. Crypto Briefing reported this on October 7, and the trade service TokenPost announced the same release on the same day with its own details on the technical integration. For retail investors, nothing changes about the route to buying, at least for now. Ripple Custody is a custody solution for banks, funds and depositaries, not for individual portfolios.
