Bitcoin Whale Flows Split as $200 Million Reaches Exchanges and One Buys $903 Million

Two large Bitcoin (BTC) holders transferred about $200 million in BTC to exchanges over a 24-hour period, while a separate buyer acquired 11,326 BTC worth about $903 million, showing sharply different activity among large holders. Exchange deposits can indicate potential selling pressure. In a separate flow measure, 14,942 BTC left exchanges, the largest outflow in five weeks. During the earlier five-day accumulation, whales added 16,010 BTC as Bitcoin declined from $87,000 toward $80,000. The latest figures describe a separate, shorter period of activity. The Federal Reserve held its benchmark rate range at 3.75% to 4% Wednesday in a 10-2 vote.
