Bitcoin Hashrate Rebounds to Its Highest Level Since March 3

Bitcoin’s estimated seven-day average hashrate climbed above 1,000 exahashes per second, reaching its highest level since March 3 as public miners’ own realized computing power declined. The network had already crossed that threshold earlier in October. Its seven-day average stood at 1,031.61 EH/s on Oct. 17 . The latest comparison marks the highest level since March 3. The network-wide rise contrasts with the first-half figures for publicly traded miners. Their realized hashrate fell 56 EH/s, or 15%, while the broader Bitcoin network’s hashrate declined 10%.
