Binance SAFU Wallet Transfers 7,500 Bitcoin in Three Transactions

Binance’s SAFU wallet transferred 7,500 Bitcoin (BTC) on Oct. 31 in a move that may be tied to the exchange’s effort to replenish assets affected by a security incident. On-chain records show the BTC moved in three transactions. The wallet held 7,500 BTC after the transfers, with that remaining balance valued at about $580 million. The amount sent therefore matched the number of BTC left at the address, though the $580 million valuation applies to the remaining balance. Binance announced on Oct. 31 that about 90% of affected assets had been replenished, up from 80% in an earlier disclosure.
