A Hyperliquid Whale's Ether Short Shows $1.92 Million in Unrealized Gains

A Hyperliquid address's 5x short in Ether (ETH) showed $1.92 million in unrealized gains on Oct. 29, up from $25,700 in the Oct. 27 snapshot , as whale shorts exceeded longs by $581 million. Whale positions on Hyperliquid totaled $8.083 billion. Short positions were valued at $4.332 billion, or 53.59%, compared with $3.751 billion, or 46.41%, for longs. The long-to-short ratio was 0.87, matching the Oct. 27 reading as total position values changed only slightly. Long positions generated $79.15 million in aggregate P&L, while short positions recorded a $29.61 million loss.
