ShibTorch’s SHIB Burn Route Was Listed as Closed in Oct. 22 Snapshot

ShibTorch’s route for burning Shiba Inu (SHIB) was listed as closed in a Thursday, Oct. 22 snapshot, while a separate community portal showed two recent burn entries. ShibTorch collects network fees in Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), Shibarium’s gas token. It uses the accumulated BONE to acquire SHIB, then depends on a token swap and bridge transfer to deliver SHIB to an Ethereum burn address. The BONE balance is the fee pool for the process, while the bridge carries the SHIB needed to complete the burn. A separate community portal is a different mechanism that lets holders burn tokens themselves.
